Checklist – What to Pack

Before you move to Iceland make sure to pack everything you need. Use this checklist to check off items that you have already packed.

Passport

VISA (if applicable)

Work permit (if applicable)

Other immigration documentation that you may have obtained already

Bank balance statement

Proof of your travel insurance (e.g. printed copy or a way to access the documents on your phone)

The address of your first place to stay

Driver’s license or some other form of government-issued ID besides your passport

Your resume. Printed copies or on electronic form

Accommodation references (if applicable)

Prescriptions (if necessary)

A good pair of gloves, warm hat, scarf, winter coat and waterproof boots/shoes. These are crucial items if you plan on arriving during winter.
